| Who is Dr. Raja El Moeme Slickshill? The notion of Dr. Slickshill was born out of a singular love for Halloween. He began life as an anagram of my full name, and became my Halloween 'me' beginning in 2004, when I place my first animated display on the front lawn. He is a man whose visage belies his advancing age of 199 years, who searches the world for the remains of monsters and creatures to display in Dr. Slickshill's Sideshow of Monstrous Oddities. Doctor Slickshill has since become fully entrenched in my creative life... He represents me in my Halloween display work, as the name of my music project, and he's even had an homage of sorts in a recent film, director Brian Corder's Carnies, in the form of sideshow talker Doc Slickshill.
